Fairhaven COVID-19 Employee Bulletin #31 – $4/hour Pandemic Pay

At 9:00pm, on Friday night, the Ministry finally sent some (not all) information regarding the $4/hour pandemic pay that you have started receiving.  Please click on the following link:

https://www.ontario.ca/page/covid-19-temporary-pandemic-pay and read the attached letter.  Hard copies will be placed in communication binders on RHAs and in the COVID-19 information folders at Reception, in the core break room and at the screening table.

We still do not know:

• When the funding for the payments will flow to Fairhaven
• How the $250 lump sum payments will flow to employees (through FH or the government)
• Whether there will be any other discretionary deductions on the $4/hour special pandemic pay earnings

As soon as we receive any additional information, we will pass it on to you.
