Fairhaven Parking Lot Paving Process
Starting this Thursday, July 9th, our paving contractor will be starting the process of removing/grinding the pavement leading up to, and including, the circle driveway in front of our front doors.
The crew will be starting on the areas leading up to the front of the Home and on the weekend they will be removing the remainder of the existing asphalt.
Tuesday will be the day that the paving will actually occur. There are a few things to keep in mind:
- Family visits will not be occurring on Tuesday
- Bus service will not be available, at Fairhaven, on Tuesday; City has been notified
- Staff will be able to park in the lower lot and on the street; the City will be contacted to let them know that this will be happening
- Please try to carpool or, if possible, arrange to be dropped off/picked up from the Home on Tuesday
- If alternate arrangements cannot be made, please speak to your Manager who will look at other options
We know this will be somewhat of an inconvenience but the lot has been in need of replacement for some time as patches can only be done for a limited length of time.
